KUALA LUMPUR: Two of the 11 Covid-19 fatalities reported to the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) as of noon today were patients in their thirties.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the youngest among the two victims was Case 175,859, who is a 34-year-old man.
He said the patient, who also suffered from asthma died at the Melaka Hospital.
The other patient was a 36-year-old woman, who also had other underlying illnesses including high-blood pressure and was considered as obese.
Dr Noor Hisham said the patient died at the Sibu Hospital in Sarawak.
The other nine Covid-19 fatalities were patients aged between 60 and 91.
The new fatalities reported as of noon today brings the Covid-19 death toll in the country to 678.
