KUALA LUMPUR: The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) will improve its facilities at the vaccination centre (PPV) in Stadium Titiwangsa here.
In a statement, CITF said it took note of the traffic congestion at the PPV, due to the narrow entrance for cars as well as limited tents and chairs for those who are waiting for their jabs.
"As such, four units of waiting tents and 500 chairs will be added at the location as soon as possible.
"We apologise to all those affected by the congestion problem at PPV in Stadium Titiwangsa and we will improve our service from time to time."
The capacity of the PPV was said to be at 1,600 per day.
However, due to the presence of those accompanying the recipients at the location, the number had doubled, leading to overcrowding.
