ALOR GAJAH: The Kuala Sungai Baru police station will be closed from 2pm today until July 26, after several policemen were infected with Covid-19.
Alor Gajah district police chief Superintendent Arshad Abu said people from the area who wish to apply for inter-district and state travel permits could do so at either Lubuk Cina police station or Masjid Tanah police station.
"Kuala Sungai Baru police community services including crime prevention patrols through patrol cars(MPV) and motorcycle patrol unit (URB) will continue as usual.
"Those in need of assistance, especially residents in areas under the jurisdiction of the Kuala Sungai Baru Police, can contact the Alor Gajah Headquarters Operations Room at 06-5564153 or 06-5566573 which is open 24 hours," he said in a statement here today. - Bernama
