KOTA BARU: A total 7,445 locals in the state have to undergo home-quarantine after they were tested positive for Covid-19 or were close contacts to positive patients.
According to the state health department in a Facebook post, the figure was recorded as of yesterday at all 10 districts in the state.
Another 1,657 individuals are currently at Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centres (PKRC) throughout the state.
As of yesterday, a total 793 patients were warded at several hospitals in Kelantan while another 61 at Intensive Care Units.
Kelantan recorded 796 Covid-19 cases yesterday bringing the cumulative figure to 118,222.
Two new clusters were detected; Jalan Seneng and Taman Desa Wira, bringing the total active clusters to 153.
Nine new deaths were recorded yesterday bringing the total figure to 836.
Kelantan had more than 9,000 active cases as of yesterday.
