Covid-19: 16 new fatalities

KUALA LUMPUR: Another 16 Covid-19 fatalities were recorded yesterday, taking the country's death toll to 35,465.

Half of it were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

According to data from CovidNow and Github, Penang recorded the highest with four deaths.

Kedah and Perak reported three deaths each while Johor and Selangor reported two deaths each.

Kuala Lumpur and Sabah recorded one death each.

BID cases were reported in Perak and Kedah with two cases each, and one each in Johor, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Sabah.

In the past two weeks, five Covid-19 deaths were reported per million people in Malaysia with Putrajaya the highest among the states and federal territories with 17 deaths per million people.
