ALOR STAR: Former Kedah police chief Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim passed away today, according to a posting by Kedah police force on its official Facebook page.
"Kedah Police chief and all members of the Kedah police force wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late Dato' Ahmad Ibrahim, former Kedah police chief who passed away on May 8, 2022.
"His remains are expected to be laid to rest in Semabok, Melaka," reads the posting.
Ahmad retired from the force as Kedah police chief on September 30, 2014 after serving for 38 years.
It was learnt that following his retirement, Ahmad had been spending his time living in Alor Star with his wife.
