8-year-old double world record holder aiming to better her time

KUALA LUMPUR: She may only be eight-years-old, but already holds two world records for identifying the greatest number of flags in the shortest time.

Anjanaa Rhea Ganeson, a Year Two student at SK Seri Selangor in Subang Jaya holds the Kids World Record, as well as the Jackhi Book of World Records for identifying 230 country flags in four minutes and 38 seconds.

She achieved the Canada-based Kids World Record on Jan 3 this year, while the Indian-based Jackhi Books of World Record feat was confirmed on March 30, 2022.

She hopes to achieve the feat locally and to be inducted into the Malaysia Book of Records for her next accolade.

"Anjanaa started gaining a serious interest identifying country flags and later challenged herself by timing how fast she can identify them", said her proud father, Amos Ganesan.

Both parents strongly support their daughter. Anjanaa has also made Malaysia proud and even her school encouraged her to achieve a better time in her next feat, as the sole young Malaysian to achieve these international recognitions.
