Alert Tone issued for missing Ali Imran

UPDATE JUNE 19, 2022: Ali Imran Naseruddin has been found safe.


SEPANG: Missing 16-year-old Ali Imran Naseruddin was last seen wearing a pair of jeans, a hat, and a pair of black Nike shoes.

Sepang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said based on a closed-circuit camera (CCTV) footage, the teen also carried a waterproof blue cylinder shaped bag.

"According to the investigation, the teen was seen walking alone from the residential area in Bandar Bukit Puchong 2 at 3.57am on Thursday.

"The missing person is 170 centimetres, has black hair, thick eyebrows, squinty eyes, a slim body and wears glasses," he said in a statement today.

Wan Kamarul said he received a police report made by his mother at 6.52am on the same day.

"The 'Alert Tone' was conducted at the Putra Perdana Police Station for action involving all elements to detect the missing person.

"Members of the public who find the missing person may contact Sepang District Police Headquarters Investigation Officer Sergeant Nur Arfidah Mohamed at 012-7955961 or any nearby police station," he said.

Ali, a student of SMK USJ 4, was discovered missing from his room at about 5.30am when his mother, Wan Esuriyanti Wan Ahmad, wanted to wake him for school.
