KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia recorded 2,003 new Covid-19 infections, 1,861 recoveries and one death on Sunday.
Three of the new cases were imported.
The fresh infections take the cumulative cases to 4,556,664, according to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal.
Selangor has the most new cases at 690.
Malaysia's Covid-19 death toll stands at 35,746.
There are 28,151 active cases. A total of 27,025 are in home quarantine, 13 are at integrated quarantine and treatment centres, 1,082 are hospitalised, and 19 are in intensive care units.
