IPOH: A man was killed and another seriously injured after some homemade explosive materials blew up at the Lata Kekabu Recreational Centre in Lenggong, today.

The deceased was identified as Amirudin Khairudin, 44, while the injured was identified as Azlan Ali, 40.

Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said police were alerted to the incident at 3.12pm.

He said initial investigations revealed the duo were there to conduct fish bombing using homemade explosives.
