KUALA LUMPUR: Several Umno leaders were spotted arriving at the Menara Dato Onn to attend the party's supreme council this evening.
Among them were Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Sabah Umno Liaison Commitee chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and Terengganu Umno Liason Commitee chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said.
Also spotted were several Umno Supreme Council members such as Datuk Seri Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, Datuk Khaidirah Abu Zahar and Isham Jalil.
Speculation is rife that the party's supreme council meeting will discuss on the 15th General Election (GE15).
The meeting is expected to start at 9pm and will be chaired by Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Two other meetings were held earlier involving the party's political bureau meeting, and one involving the top five leaders in Umno, which was highly anticipated.
The "Top Five" refers to Zahid, his deputy Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and the three vice-presidents.
They are the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid and Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
