PUTRAJAYA: Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has confirmed that 2023 Budget will be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat later today.
The Rembau Member of Parliament, who was exiting the Putra Perdana building where the weekly cabinet meeting took place, affirmed the matter to waiting reporters.
"Yes, the budget (will be tabled) this evening. Yes. Yes," he said.
Asked whether the issue of dissolving Dewan Rakyat was discussed in the Cabinet meeting, Khairy replied he wanted to eat porridge.
"I want to eat porridge," he said in jest to the question, much to the bemusement of reporters.
Khairy exited Perdana Putra Building at about noon today after the weekly cabinet meeting concluded and stopped briefly to chat with waiting reporters.
The vehicle carrying Youth and Sports, Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, was among the first to leave the Putra Perdana Building.
