PUTRAJAYA: Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz left the Finance Ministry at about 2.30pm to Parliament House to table 2023 Budget.
He is scheduled to table the second reading of the budget at 4pm.
Before his departure, Tengku Zafrul took part in a prayer recitation led by Ustaz Mohamad Zukrillah Ismail, the Islamic Affairs Officer of the Finance Ministry.
The Finance Minister was wearing a turquoise blue Baju Melayu and was carrying a black bag containing the text of the budget speech.
Accompanying Tengku Zafrul to Parliament are his two deputies, Datuk Mohd Shahar Abdullah and Datuk Yamani Hafez Musa.
When asked about the contents of the 2023 Budget, Tengku Zafrul just smiled at waiting media practitioners.
