KUALA LUMPUR: Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz tables the 2023 Budget in Parliament.

It is widely expected that a bigger allocation will be used to build on the momentum of growth this year and lay the foundation for stronger recovery next year and beyond.


DNB will expand the 5G network throughout the country to cover 70 per cent of highly-populated areas.

The tabling of the 2023 Budget is now underway. The House burst out in laughter when Tengku Zafrul mistakenly said 'syarikat' when he wanted to say 'rakyat'.


The budget is expected to be tabled at 4pm.


Tengku Zafrul left the Finance Ministry at about 2.30pm to head to the Parliament House. He was wearing a turquoise coloured baju Melayu, with the budget speech held in a black 'tenun' bag.
