KUALA LUMPUR: The maximum individual limit for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) and ASB2 will be raised from RM200,000 to RM300,000.
Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, when tabling the 2023 Budget at the Dewan Rakyat today, said the move is proposed to increase equity ownership among the Bumiputera community in the country.
"Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) will also provide easy financing loans to assist the Bumiputera in the B40 income household to invest in ASB.
"The loans to be offered by BSN will be offered at a rate of 1.5 per cent involving RM100 million in funds," he said.
