'Allahuakbar! I am not leaving you, (sa)yang...'

KULAI: "Allah! Allahuakbar! I am not leaving you, (sa)yang (my love)...That is my wife ... Allah ... Allah... Allah!"

The heartbreaking screams came from a man involved in a horrific accident at KM45.7 of the North-South Highway here, last night.

He began screaming after finding out that his wife was still trapped in the burning vehicle.

The heart-wrenching video with a duration of one minute and 37 seconds has since gone viral on Facebook.

The man was, however, calmed down by other road users at the location who whisked him further down the highway, far from the raging fire which had engulfed the vehicle.
