NILAI: A lorry driver was killed in a five-vehicle pile-up in the southbound carriageway at kilometre 280 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) near the Recron Malaysia Sdn Bhd factory here this morning.
The incident, which occurred at 11.40am, caused all four lanes of the NSE to be closed and resulted in a 5km-long traffic congestion.
A spokesman for the Negri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department said there were 10 victims in the accident.
"One man died. Two men and two women were injured while the rest were unharmed. A total of five vehicles were involved in the accident, including two trailers and a motorcycle," he said.
