KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today met Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in Putrajaya.
In a Twitter post, Anwar said he appreciated his predecessor's willingness to meet up and deliberate on various current issues.
"I also stated my appreciation to him (Ismail Sabri) for his support," said the prime minister tonight.
When Anwar was appointed the 10th prime minister, the Bera member of parliament had expressed his hope that the new government under Anwar would be able to maintain political stability and economic growth in the country.
