ROMPIN: Barisan Nasional's Tioman state seat candidate Datuk Seri Johari Hussain arrived at the SK Pontian polling centre to cast his vote.
Clad in batik, the three-term Tioman assemblyman arrived a 9.45am.
Johari greeted several constituents who were seated at the polling station entrance before making his way into the premises.
Earlier, Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Nor Idayu Hashim cast her vote at the nearby SK Tanjung Gemok at 8.34am.
The Tioman state seat polls will see a five-cornered fight between Johari, Idayu, Pejuang's Osman A. Bakar, Mohd Fadzli Mohd Ramly from Pakatan Harapan, and independent candidate Sulaiman Bakar.
The 15th General Election for the Tioman state seat was postponed due to the death of PN candidate Md Yunus Ramli, 61, on polling day last Nov 19.
