KOTA BARU: The number of flood evacuees in Kelantan has slightly decreased to 2,014 evacuees as of 9am today, compared with 2018 people last night.
There are 634 families currently seeking shelter at seven temporary relief centre (PPS) in Pasir Mas.
According to website infobencanajkmv2.jkm.gov.my, SK Tok Deh is currently providing shelter to 712 flood victims, followed by SK Gual Periok with 544 people, SK Kubang Kual sheltered 251 people, Putat Tujoh 157 people, SK Sri Kiambang 234 people, Masjid Mukim Padang Licin 69 people and SK Kedai Tanjong 47 people.
The website also reported water level of Sungai Golok in Rantau Panjang has slightly dropped compared with yesterday, but still exceeded the danger level with a reading of 9.26m.
However, the water level at Sungai Golok in Kuala Jambu, Tumpat slightly rose and exceeded the warning level at 2.16m.
