KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PH-Tambun) led the way for 222 members of Parliament in taking their oath as members of the Dewan Rakyat.
He was followed his two deputies Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (BN-Bagan Datuk) and Datuk Seri Fadilah Yusof (GPS - Petra Jaya), Transport Minister Anthony Loke (PH-Seremban) and Mohamed Sabu (PH-Kota Raja).
All elected representatives took their respective oath before Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Johari Abdul.
The election for the two deputy speakers post would be held once all the elected representatives have taken their oath.
