SEGAMAT: Ramadan bazaar traders here say they don't entertain black plastic bag gang members who want to buy Menu Rahmah food.
The traders are referring to able-bodied Muslims who do not fast and instead pack and take away food to eat during the day.
Trader Amry Mohd Kassim said he and other traders in Taman Bandar Utama would not pity them, give in or entertain those who did not fast and wanted to buy food off the menu.
"Even though we are tired from cooking and standing for a long time, we will not make any exception for those who do not fast.
"We do not mind if there are leftovers from Menu Rahmah, as they can be distributed to the poor. But we will not sell this food to the black plastic bag gang."
Amry and other traders also keep an eye out for Menu Rahmah orders by black plastic bag gang members who place orders online and use the services of e-riders.
He said even though the small food business was their only source of income, they had to make sure that the profits they made were halal and not tied to things forbidden by religion.
