SHAH ALAM: The moment the aircraft crashed and burst into flames near the City of Elmina was captured on a dashboard camera of a passing vehicle, narrowly missing it.
Ten were reported killed in the crash. A state assemblyman from Pahang as well as the chief executive officer of an aviation company were believed to be among the victims involved.
Speaking at a press conference at the scene, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said eight people were onboard the aircraft, while the remaining two were the driver of a car and a motorcyclist.
Both vehicles were hit by the aircraft in the crash.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) confirmed that today, a Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1) registration number N28JV crashed near Elmina, Shah Alam, Selangor.
The aircraft, operated by Jetvalet Sdn Bhd, departed from Langkawi International Airport at 2:08pm and was headed to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang.
