Where's my money? Dr M can't find his 'alleged wealth' in FB video [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: A Facebook video of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad "searching" for billions of ringgit all over his house has gone viral recently.

The video was probably a satire about his alleged extraordinary wealth that he was accused of accumulating while in office.

It was posted by Ratu Naga and it showed the former two-time prime minister looking for something in various places, including behind a television set.

When asked what he was searching for, Mahathir said he was searching for money.

"Money, Money...where is the RM3 billion that I supposedly have. Searching everywhere but can't find it," he said.

After checking behind the television set, he said that there was nothing there and proceeded to inspect a bedroom.

In the bedroom, he was asked how long he had been searching, and Dr Mahathir said it had been two years, but he still couldn't find the money.

Responding to a question about whether he planned to go to Switzerland to look for the funds, he replied: "Let's go to Switzerland. The banks in Switzerland may still have the money there", which then the video ends.
