Singaporean motorcyclist killed in highway crash

ISKANDAR PUTERI: A 49-year-old Singaporean man was killed after he rear-ended a car on the Second Link highway yesterday.

The victim, who was riding a superbike, crashed into the rear left side of the car at 4.30pm.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner M.Kumarasan said the impact caused the car driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into another car in the right lane.

The motorcyclist fell onto the highway shoulder and suffered severe neck injuries.

He was rushed to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital by ambulance, but succumbed to his injuries.
