KUALA LUMPUR: Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has turned heads on social media after appearing in a video, donning a traditional Saudi robe.
In a promotional video posted by the Saudi Arabian football club, Al Nassr, Ronaldo is seen wearing the robe complete with the traditional headdress consisting of the 'shemagh' and 'egal'.
The football star was also seen wielding a sword and dancing to the beat of traditional Arabic tunes.
The 2 minutes and 35 seconds video began with three children making their way inside the stadium, excited to see several of its players getting ready to be part of a traditional dance.
The video also features the club's main players including Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio Talisca and Alex Telles.
Ronaldo signed for the Saudi Arabian club in December in a deal believed to be worth more than 200 million euros.
