KUALA LUMPUR: How many times have you stared at your History examination paper, panicked and wished you could remember what was written on the textbook?
A Malaysian student has gone viral after scoring a perfect 100 per cent in her History exam, inspiring many on social media.
In a TikTok post that has taken social media by storm, user @hyeonna proudly shared her flawless exam results, with both sections of the test marked with full scores.
The exam covered an extensive range of topics, inclusing the Melaka Sultanate, Rukun Negara, Malaysia's independence, and the Second World War.
As of Press time, the post has garnered over 1.7 million views and 224,000 likes, with hundreds of comments praising her effort and seeking her study methods.
Responding to the flood of requests, Hyeonna revealed her approach.
"I read the key points multiple times, then close the book and try to write down those points from memory. If I get it right, I know I've memorised it. If not, I repeat it until I do."
Social media users lauded her achievement, with one commenter, Fify Farisha657, saying: "You are proof that there are still students who put in the effort to study, even with the elimination of major exams. May you inspire your friends to succeed as well."
Another user, Mommy Arash, said: "This is what we need! Not those who show off failed results or say education isn't important. Good job, keep it up!"
Bluetulips added: "Hopefully there are more posts like this to motivate others to focus on their studies."
