KUALA LUMPUR: The contest for the Gombak parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15) will see the current and former Selangor menteri besars do battle.
PKR today announced that it would be fielding Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari in Gombak for the Nov 19 election.
Amirudin who is a PKR vice-president and Sungai Tua assemblyman, is expected to slug it out against Gombak incumbent member of parliament Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Azmin is also the Perikatan Nasional information chief.
