PAGOH: The contest for the Pagoh seat will see a three-cornered fight between Perikatan Nasional's Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Barisan Nasional's Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim and Pakatan Harapan's Iskandar Shah Abd Rahman.
They submitted their nomination papers before the nomination period was closed at 10am.
The official announcement of the candidates was made by returning officer Muhammad Helmi Ya'kub half an hour after the nomination period was closed.
In Kluang, three candidates submitted their nomination papers for the Sembrong parliamentary seat at the Kluang Municipal Council Hall in Paloh.
The candidates for Sembrong are BN's Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, PH's Hasni Abas and PN's Aziz Ismail.
Returning officer Jamaludin A. Hamid announced the closing period for the registration at 10am.
Hasni arrived at the nomination centre at 8.50am, while Aziz arrived at 9am. Hishammuddin arrived at 9.20am accompanied by his wife and party supporters.
