GE15: Investigate Razman over slanderous remarks, says Perak Amanah

KUALA LUMPUR: Perak Amanah chairman Datuk Asmuni Awi has asked the Election Commission (EC) and the police to investigate PAS Perak chief Razman Zakaria over his slandarous remarks on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"These slanderous campaigns should be stopped as Islam prohibits its people from slandering others. It has a big impact on the society.

"He (Razman) should have focused on people's issues such as economic issues, prices of goods and poverty in his campaigns.

"I ask that the people to reject candidates who practice the politics of slander and hatred because it does not bring any benefit or good to the people and the country," Asmuni said in a statement posted on his Facebook account.

While campaigning at the Tebuk Pancur night market yesterday, Razman claimed that Anwar has an agenda on LGBT and legalising same-sex marriage.

He also accused DAP of having a communist agenda and that Muslims in the country must not vote for their candidates.
