GE15: After years of rivalry, BN-PH to hold joint ceramah in Tioman [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: After years of rivalry, Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan will hold their first joint ceramah to campaign for the Tioman state seat in the 15th General Election.

This marks the first time the two coalition are joining forces to campaign after the formation of the unity government, which sees BN cooperating with PH following a hung Parliament.

The ceramah will see political figures from PH and BN sharing the stage, including Pahang BN chairman and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Amanah chairman Mohamad Sabu and Pahang PH chairman Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

PH had announced that it would make way for BN to contest Tioman.

The seat will see a five-cornered fight between BN's Datuk Seri Mohd Johari Hussain, PH's Mohd Fadzli Mohd Ramly, Perikatan Nasional Nor's Idayu Hashim, Pejuang's Osman A. Bakar and independent candidate Sulaiman Bakar.

Polling is on Dec 7.
