Muhyiddin has yet to decide on his positions in Bersatu and PN [NSTTV]

PUTRAJAYA: Former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he had yet to decide if he would relinquish all his political positions following the latest allegations over his involvement in the Jana Wibawa scandal.

"Just wait. I have yet to be prosecuted in court. And I will make an announcement on my decision," he told reporters when met outside the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters here today.

Muhyiddin was asked to comment if he would step down as the Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president amidst his court case.

The Pagoh member of parliament earlier confirmed that he is expected to face seven charges, which will be made separately, at the Kuala Lumpur Courts tomorrow and Shah Alam Courts on Monday.

Asked if he was pressured during the interrogation by MACC, Muhyiddin said the graft busters carried out their duties professionally.

"It took some time since they were being thorough. We took time to look through all the documents.

"They were not harsh towards me," he said.

Earlier today, MACC announced that Muhyiddin was arrested at 1pm when he was called to have his statement recorded at the commission's headquarters here, over the Jana Wibawa scandal and other related issues.

Muhyddin was accompanied by his lawyer when he arrived at the MACC headquarters at 11.15am. He exited the complex at 8.20pm.
