SECONDLY, many people may not be able to book their tickets in advance due to work or other commitments.
For example, KTMB announced the addition of more train and Electric Train Service (ETS) tickets for Hari Raya.
By adding more train and ETS tickets, KTMB is increasing the availability of public transportation, which can help to prevent price hikes and ensure that transportation remains affordable pre-Hari Raya.
THIRDLY, it is important to consider the financial circumstances of students studying away from home.
These students may be struggling financially, and the high cost of transportation could make it even more difficult to travel back home.
By increasing the availability of public transportation and preventing price hikes, the government can ensure that Malaysians can celebrate this festive season with their loved ones, regardless of their financial circumstances.
