Chang: Eco Business Park V remains a favourite among industrialists

Eco World Development Group (EcoWorld Malaysia) Berhad's Eco Business Park V's (EBP 5) continues to be a favourite among industrialists, said it's president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah.

Since its launch in 2017, the green industrial park has achieved total sales of RM1.18 billion (as at 28 February 2023).

EBP 5V is located in the emerging Puncak Alam growth corridor in the Klang Valley, with a total gross development value of RM 3 billion.

The green industrial hub comprises five phases - East Gate, West Gate, South Gate, North Gate, and Central Gate.

According to Chang, the East Gate has achieved over 85 per cent occupancy.

He said the Central Gate phase, which was introduced during the pandemic in December 2021 recorded impressive sales of over RM246.16 million (as at 28 February 2023).

"In the first four months of the financial year 2023, industrial properties brought in the highest sales for EcoWorld Malaysia with RM616 million recorded," he said.

Chang said that EcoWorld Malaysia is committed to making EBP 5 one of the best industrial parks in the country with even more modern, efficient, and sustainable designs offered.

The project's next launch would be the 92-acre South Gate phase, which is set to offer bigger units with more options for customisation, he said in a statement.

EBP 5 held a grand signing ceremony today for the sale of industrial land lots to EB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd (seven acres) in the West Gate phase, and TTL Sales & Rental Sdn Bhd (4.7 acres) in Central Gate.

The industrial park also sold 21 factory units from Central Gate's new launch, with prices from RM2.2 million.
