The Malaysian world No 9 have never beaten the Indonesians in seven previous meetings but are ready to give everything they have on the sports' biggest stage.
"We can't choose who we want to play in the quarter-finals but we are mentally and physically prepared for this.
"We are in the quarter-finals and we promise to do our best in the coming match," said Aaron.
Yesterday, Aaron-Wooi Yik cruised past Canada's Jason Anthony Ho-Shue-Nyl Yakura with a 21-15, 21-13 win to finish second in Group D.
Indonesia's world No 2, Mohammad Ahsan-Hendra Setiawan had earlier done Aaron-Wooi Yik a huge favour by defeating South Korea's Choi Solgyu-Seo Seung Jae 21-12, 19-21, 21-18 to claim top spot in the group.
Only the top two teams qualify for the last eight stage.
Former world champions Ahsan-Hendra will play Japan's Takeshi Kamura-Keigo Sonoda in the quarter-finals.
The other quarter-final matches see Denmark's Kim Astrup-Anders Skaarup Rasmussen take on third seeds Lee Jun Hui-Liu Yu Chen of China, while Taiwan's Wang Chi Lin-Lee Yang play Japan's Hiroyuki Endo-Yuta Watanabe.
At the previous edition in Rio five years ago, Malaysia won silver in the men's doubles event through Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong.
Two other Malaysians, men's singles Lee Zii Jia and women's singles, Soniia Cheah will complete their final group stage matches today.
Zii Jia will play France's Brice Leverdez to determine who tops Group M, while Soniia takes on former world champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in Group N.
For the singles event, only the group winners will qualify to the round of 16.
