KUALA LUMPUR: Mixed doubles Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei stormed into the semi-finals of the China Open on Friday, marking their first appearance at this stage in a Super 1000 event.

The world No. 11 defeated Taiwan's Ye Hong Wei-Lee Chia Hsin 21-15, 13-21, 21-16.

It marks their fourth consecutive victory against the world No. 15 pair.
