KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 5 Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik breezed into the quarter-finals of the India Open on Thursday.
The former world champions beat China's No. 39 Xie Hao Nan-Zhang Wei Han 21-10, 21-18 in 33 minutes at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi.
It was an improved performance from Aaron-Wooi Yik who were knocked out of the Malaysia Open second round last week.
They will next take on either Thailand's world No.7 Dechapol Puavaranukroh-Kedren Kittinupong or Indonesia's No.4 Fajar Alfian-Rian Ardianto in the quarter-finals.
