Norizam takes legal action against MFL

The Red Warriors (TRW) chief is on the warpath and has launched legal action against the Malaysian Football League (MFL).

Kelantan FC owner Norizam Tukiman, who has been ranting against MFL and FAM on Facebook, has instructed his lawyers, Sheffie & Partners, to issue a letter of demand to MFL.

Norizam, better known as Zamsaham, also posted his legal letter against MFL on Facebook yesterday.

The letter, dated Jan 15, has Kelantan FC demanding payments for their home matches shown online. It claimed that viewers had paid via MyCujoo (an online streaming service).

It highlighted Kelantan's home matches against Perak II (Sept 12), Sarawak United (Sept 25) and Negri Sembilan (Oct 3), and said the payments due to Kelantan are still pending.

MFL were unavailable for comments yesterday.

On Sunday, Timesport reported that Norizam has demanded transparency from MFL in response to the league administrator's show cause letter on Thursday.

Norizam was issued the letter for violating the M-League's code of ethics in posting negative remarks on Facebook.

He faces fines of up to RM20,000 and a stadium ban of between two and six months.
