Satiananthan resigns as Sarawak United coach

KUALA LUMPUR: B. Satiananthan has resigned from his role as Sarawak United coach due to health issues, the club announced on Monday on their website.

Sarawak United said former international S. Balachandran has been appointed head coach, adding that Satiananthan had stepped down following a health setback that would require him to seek medical treatment and supervision.

Satiananthan is one of the best tacticians in the game, having coached the national team and guiding several M-League clubs to titles in the past.

Sarawak United, who lost 7-0 to Selangor on Sunday, are second from bottom in the Super League with seven points.
