PJ City score late goal to deny JDT three points

KUALA LUMPUR: High-flying Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) were held to a 2-2 draw by PJ City in a Super League match at MBPJ Stadium today.

With five games remaining, JDT lead the standings with 43 points and are expected to retain their title.

JDT broke the deadlock when Brazilian Bergson da Silva converted from the spot in the 48th minute for his 23rd goal of the season.

However, P. Maniam's side equalised through Darren Lok in the 73rd minute.

JDT regained their lead four minutes before the final whistle when Akhyar Rashid converted a Matthew Davies pass.

However, JDT were denied three points when Kogileswaran Raj levelled proceedings in stoppage time.

At Hang Jebat Stadium, Melaka United were held 0-0 by KL City.
