KUALA LUMPUR: Brazilian striker Bergson da Silva scored a hat-trick as JDT thrashed Kelantan United 6-0 in a Super League match at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium today.
The 32-year-old opened the floodgates in eighth minute.
Fernando Forestieri then doubled their lead in the 22nd minute.
Da Silva added two more goals in the 61st and 69th minutes.
Leandro Velazquez added the fifth for JDT in the 76th minute. Forestieri took his tally to 10 goals this year by scoring their sixth in stoppage time.
JDT lead the standings with 30 points from 10 wins.
