KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are one win away from retaining their Super League crown for the 10th straight time.
Esteban Solari's side, who lead the standings with 60 points, however, face a tricky encounter against Kedah at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Star on Saturday.
Solari wants to go for the quick kill and retain their league crown to focus on the Asian Champions League (ACL).
"A victory over Kedah will allow us to focus on the ACL," said Solari on Friday.
"The ACL will allow us to see where we stand (in the continent)."
JDT have already won the Charity Shield and FA Cup this year.
The Southern Tigers are in Group I of the ACL with South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai, Japan's Kawasaki Frontale and Thailand's BG Pathum United.
JDT owner Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim admitted the club are in a tough group.
"(It is a) tough group. We will fight like we do every year. No surrender. We will do our best," said Tunku Ismail on Instagram.
