Bergson hits 21 goals as JDT extend Super League lead

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are closing in on their 11th consecutive Super League title following a commanding 4-0 victory over Sabah at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Saturday.

Hector Bidoglio's side now lead the standings with 49 points from 17 matches.

JDT scored through Juan Muniz (51st and 69th minutes) and Bergson da Silva (79th and 83rd).

The double saw Bergson extend his tally to 21 goals this season.

Sabah remain third with 29 points.

Meanwhile, Kuching City recorded a 2-0 victory over Police at the Selayang Stadium.
