Malaysia's Azlan brothers dominate Sea eSports Championships

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia won both the individual and team sim racing competitions at the Sea eSports Championships today.

In the individual competition, Malaysia's Naquib Azlan topped Race 1, followed by his brother Nabil and Singapore's Dillan Tan.

Naquib also dominated Race Two, finishing ahead of Indonesia's Fadhli Rachmat and Nabil.

Naquib emerged as the overall winner, followed by Nabil and Fadhli.

"It is great to finish top two in the competition. We were motivated to win the title today," said Naquib.

In the team competition, Naquib and Nabil dominated the 40-minute race for the title. Philippines and Vietnam took second and third, respectively.

"My aim was not to let the team down in the event. I am really happy with how things turned out," said Nabil.

Naquib earned US$10,000 for his efforts in the individual event.
