JAKARTA: Indonesia reported 3,874 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours yesterday, taking its tally of infections to 275,213.
Based on the republic's National Disaster Management Authority, a further 129,553 people are being monitored for the virus.
Meanwhile, 78 new fatalities were reported yesterday, raising the death toll to 10,386.
Jakarta province has the highest number of Covid-19 cases at 70,441; while East Java has the highest death toll at 3,118, followed by Jakarta (1,686) and Central Java (1,389). --Bernama
