KUALA LUMPUR: The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd’s (NSTP) MyRumah Property Showcase 2018 is back for the third year running.

The MyRumah Property Showcase is part of NSTP parent Media Prima Bhd’s group initiative to provide a platform for the public, especially first-home buyers, to purchase their dream home at affordable prices.

NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Seri Abdul Jalil Hamid said the company aims to make this event as a preferred platform for property consultation, where existing house buyers and potential buyers can come to get expert advice from developers and property gurus.

“As an “All-in-One” platform, the consumers will get better options and can make informed decision to purchase and own their dream house while the developers can display their quality products, services, and offer buyers a good deal,” he said.

Jalil said those planning to buy a property, especially first-time house buyers, should seize this golden opportunity as most of the properties offered are starting from RM300,000, targeting the B40 and M40 groups.

Among the participating developers are Sunsuria Bhd, Aset Kayamas Sdn Bhd, Magna Prima Bhd and Sime Darby Property Bhd.

Renowned speakers and real estate experts who will give talks throughout the event include Ahyat Ishak, Datuk Nazri, Akmal Nazim, Bella Leana, Amin Harith and Amsyari Syakur from Pejuang Hartanah, representatives from Amanah Raya, Bank Muamalat, Takaful Ikhlas and Employees' Provident Fund.

The showcase is scheduled to take place at SACC Mall, Shah Alam from March 9 to 11, from 10am to 10pm daily.

Shah Alam is the first location for the event this year, followed by Sungai Petani, Johor Bahru and Melaka.

Admission are free across all venues.
