KUALA LUMPUR: SME BANK GROUP is set to extend its financial assistance facilities to small and medium enterprises (SME) in Kedah following its branding collaboration agreement signed with Kedah Holdings Sdn Bhd and a memoradum of understanding (MoU) inked with Prowheels Distributor (M) Sdn Bhd.

With the collaboration, the financing facilities would assist to finance the affordable housing projects around Pokok Sena, the bank said in a statement today, adding SME Bank’s logo would also be placed on the housing projects bill board.

Meanwhile, through the MoU, SME Bank will offer financing from as low as RM100,000 for the purchase of assets and working capital to vendors that have been selected and awarded a contract from Prowheels Distributor.

To further enhance the entrepreneur’s capacity building, SME Bank has agreed to provide them with free entrepreneurial training under this programme.
