KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has launched its 'Win The Icon' Instagram contest, which offers a brand-new Beetle as grand prize, as part of a year-long celebration of the Bug.

The contest, which runs now until Nov 30, 2019 requires participants to simply test drive a Volkswagen model at any of its authorised dealership, document the experience in a one-minute video and post it with a creative caption on their Instagram account.

Open to all Malaysians with a valid driver’s license, participants are also required to complete the slogan "My #BetterExperiencedThanExplained story is..." and follow as well as tag @Volkswagen in the posts.

The grand prize is a Volkswagen Beetle 1.2TSI and the winner will be announced in December. More details are available at www.volkswagen.com.my.

The last Beetle rolled out of Volkswagen's Puebla factory in Mexico earlier this July. Across three generations, Volkswagen had sold over 21.5 million units of the Beetle globally. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1938, the iconic ride is one of the best-selling cars in the 20th century.
