KUALA LUMPUR: Hip-hop singer Ariz Ramli, better known as Caprice, often uploads online videos which show him commenting on the latest news in showbiz.

However, he recently riled up cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman with his congratulatory message to the D’Herbs Healthy Sdn Bhd founder for adopting a newborn baby girl of Pakistani-Malay heritage early this month.

“What’s wrong with you? It ain’t right to poke fun at me, so many people do so nowadays and that’s a pain!” tweeted Aliff.

Caprice promptly replied: “Datuk Aliff, I congratulate you for adopting a child!”

Aliff subsequently apologised for the misunderstanding, and asked Caprice to translate future messages into Bahasa Malaysia.

“No problem Datuk Aliff! Do drop by at my office when you’re free, lunch is on me!” replied Caprice.
