KUALA LUMPUR: The second edition of the K-Wave Music Festival promises an even more prominent line-up of South Korean artistes.

It was recently announced that four of K-Pop’s biggest stars, boy groups Super Junior and NU’EST W, Girls’ Generation’s vocalist Taeyeon, and girl group Mamamoo will be performing at the K-Pop concert.

Joining the line-up of K-Wave 2 Music Festival, happening on Jan 13 next year at Stadium Merdeka, are K-Pop boy groups A.C.E and Halo, and girl group Tahiti.

Apart from just a music celebration, the event organised by MacpiePro and sponsored by Mcalls, will also feature games and activities from 3.30pm onwards, before the concert commences at 8pm.

Ticket prices range from RM34 to RM478 and they go on sale on Nov 3 at 9am via www.mcalls.asia. Each ticket is inclusive of a RM4 processing fee, and comes with a Mcalls Y33 Simpack worth RM30.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will be making a comeback with new music as a seven-member group next month. Their last concert in Kuala Lumpur, Super Show 5, was held in 2013.

Making her debut appearance in Malaysia as a solo artiste is Taeyeon, the lead singer of the acclaimed girl group, Girls’ Generation.

Four-member group Mamamoo is known for their powerful vocals delivered in the style of retro, jazz and R&B.

NU’EST W, a four-member unit from the boy group NUEST, was last in Malaysia in 2012 where they held a fanmeet.

Also look forward to the performances of the younger K-Pop units A.C.E, Tahiti, and Halo.

The first K-Wave Music Festival was held this year on August 5 at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach and featured the K-Pop groups Highlight, TeenTop, B1A4, BTOB, APink and Victon.
